[*] Scope of Service:

Vendor needs to provide workers’ compensation consulting service to assist with state department of labour and industry claims management and reporting, loss control, legal representation, training, and safety to the government authority located in Washington.
- Monitor and ensure timely and proper filing of all claims, claim processing, and resolution.
- Coordinate claim subrogation, when applicable.
- Monitor agency activities and appeals.
- Obtain needed claim information from:
-Claimant physicians
- Vocational counselors
- Other providers, as engaged by agency
- Recommend and coordinate any investigations.
- Coordinate return-to-work readiness.
- Assist in applying for Stay at Work program.
- Evaluate claims for future actions including, but not limited to:
- Protest WSLNI claims decisions
- Advice or further action by legal counsel
- Represent agency in claims appeals.
- Provide or sub-contract qualified legal counsel.  - All open claims (provided quarterly at a minimum)
- Employer claims history reports (provided quarterly at a minimum)
- An annual report that includes the following activity, at a minimum:
- Claims history summary
- Claims costs
- Experience factor evaluation
- Additional reports as requested

Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
