(1) Vendor needs to provide post-secondary readiness platform
- seeking Post-Secondary student tracking through K-12 and beyond high school graduation, data collection of student achievement, beyond high school, and intrinsically supporting social and emotional learning
- K - 12:
- Provide a digital platform to connect our students to regional college and career experts
- Available for all devices, include an app for convenient access for all students
- Facilitates career exploration
- Opportunity for two-way digital synchronous and asynchronous communication between students and college and career experts
- Virtual Guest Speakers - Weekly live chats with career and college experts with live Q and A sessions,
- Allows core teachers a way to integrate college and career in their classes by providing information on how their subject connects to certain careers and where students can earn a degree in that field,
- Promotes a schoolwide culture of college and career awareness
- Supports Student Agency through Student Empowerment,
- Supports student Opportunity Knowledge by Building Career Knowledge
- Supports student Academic Preparedness through Inquiry,
- Suggested activities and lessons from the AVID College and Careers: A Schoolwide Approach curriculum that would correlate with the development of college and career readiness skills utilizing the program,
- Connect Community Career Experts to Students for inquiry and clarification
- Teachers easily request speakers for in class and virtual career and leadership talks through the platform
- LMS provided within same platform to be utilized by teachers and volunteers for district initiatives, such as Middle School Leadership Coaching
- Create internships, shadowing opportunities, and mentorship for students and graduates/alumni
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than January 29, 2021.
