[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals

[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide sufficient personnel and management staff with the necessary skill and
judgment to perform all the duties and responsibilities normally associated with replacing each
gate controller and associated components to the government authority located in Fort Worth, TX.
- The contractor shall remove the existing L-3 Viking operator system and any wire that needs to be removed and/or replaced for the new system.
- The contractor shall replace the key pad and loop wire system under this contract.
- The new system shall have a contact sensor to prevent the gate closing on anything in the path of the gate upon closing.
- The new system shall be installed with a battery backup that would allow 100 continuous cycles before the battery is drained.
- The operators shall have lighting protection up to 20,000 volts or 10,000 amps.
- The operators shall be lockable and all the operator are keyed alike.
- The contractor shall turn over a minimum of 4 keys.
- The contractor shall replace and wire what is not compatible to the new system. This would include, but not limited to, wire from the operator to the key pad, gate loop wire and wire from the key pad to the office.
- The contractor shall make any repairs to the existing gate for the new system to operate.
- The contractor shall lubricant existing components of the gate.
- Contractor shall install new guild rollers.
- Contractor shall install new sealed bearing wheels at all gates.
- Contractor shall inspect the V-track and make any modifications to assure smooth operations.
- The contractor shall provide a minimum of two hours of training on the operation and maintenance of the newly installed system.
- The contractor shall replace all signs with new that are currently installed on the existing gates.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than January 25, 2021
(3) Pre-bid meeting will be held on January 20, 2021
